Q. What is uDrawFace and uDrawFace Pro?
A. uDrawFace and uDrawFace Pro let you use a person's color photograph and turn it with just a few mouse clicks into a black and white cartoon-like drawing - a caricature of the person. This program automatically extracts facial features such as eyes, nose, mouth and eyebrows from the photograph, and replaces them by cartoon-like images. uDrawFace Pro also allows you to change the size, location, color of facial parts, or adding different types of eye glasses. You can also make a happy, sad or angry face by selecting different facial expressions.



Q. What Can I Do with a uDrawFace Caricature?
A. Use your caricatures as clip-art to create business cards, email signatures, greeting cards, assignments, letters, party announcements, or flyers for school or club elections. By printing your caricature on transfer paper and using supplies from your local craft store, you can place your caricatures on custom T-shirts, sweatshirts, ceramic mugs, mouse pads, stickers, and posters that are perfect gifts for your friend, boss, lover, teacher, boyfriend (girlfriend)... and family members. Use your imagination also for other fun uses, or just for your own enjoyment.



Q. What is the UDF format?
A. UDF format saves a caricature with facial features and color information. A UDF file is much smaller than a corresponding BMP one in size, so the UDF files are easily distributed in Internet. UDF file can also be edited to create lots of caricature variations.



Q. What is UDF Viewer?
A. UDF Viewer is a free utility that lets you view and print caricature files in UDF format. If you get a caricature in UDF format from a friend, and want to simply view and print it, you can download the UDF Viewer.



Q. What is UDF Editor?
A. UDF Editor is an easy and fully featured edit program that let you create different caricatures by exaggerating the facial components of eyes, nose, mouth, or changing their color or location. You can also add a body of different poses, or add a background picture for fun.



Q. What are the Photo Requirements?
A. The photo must be a color one of at least 256 colors (8-bit). The picture size of the selected facial part ranges from 100 x 150 up to 720 x 960 in pixels. The person's head should face straight ahead without wearing a hat. Background must be a color that is not similar to the person's skin and hair color (bright blue background is preferable).



Q. What are the system requirements?
A. The programs run on a PC with the following configurations:

• Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
• Pentium II-based PC or above
• 20 MB free hard disk space
• 128 MB RAM (256 MB recommended)
• 16-bit color display

Q. How to order?
A. We sell our software through PayPal and another two well-known registration service providers RegNow.com and RegSoft.com. All provide secure online order with a credit card. RegNow.com and RegSoft.com also provide offline order by Fax, Phone, Wire Transfer and Mail.



Q. Is my order secure?
A. PayPal, RegNow.com and RegSoft.com all allow products to be securely registered or purchased with a credit card over the Internet. All online transactions are protected by an extremely high level of encryption. For more information, please click PayPal, RegNow.com or RegSoft.com.



Q. Can I order and not use a credit card?
A. Both RegNow.com and RegSoft.com offer ordering options in addition to payment online with a credit card. The offline ordering options include by phone, mail, fax, wire, and PO (if applicable). For more information, please click RegNow.com or RegSoft.com.



Q. How to get your registration code?
A. If you do not get your registration code in a timely manner, or if you've lost it, please fill out the PRODUCT REGISTRATION form. We will be happy to help you.



Q. How to upgrade?
A. When there is a new version available, you may upgrade to the new version of same title. What you need to do is simply to install the new version. Most updates do not require new license unless it is specified. For example, when you upgrade your "uDrawFace Pro" from 1.0 to 1.5, you simply install the new version. It will not ask for a new license if you install it on the same PC.
